1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos on the market. It uses lidar to navigate and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set schedules and alter the behavior of the S1.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which has flooring in the kitchen, dining room, and bathrooms, as well as large rugs and a medium-pile. It was able to drive close to walls without crashing into them, and even managed to cross raised room thresholds with no issue, though it occasionally was unable to navigate down the stairs in one step. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and raised itself when it came to carpets or rug.
Before each mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills the water tank with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also adds a cleaning solution into the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however it will differ based on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure that it's operating efficiently. In order to do this, you'll have to rinse out the water tank that is dirty regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is a powerful solution for cleaning. Its mopping capabilities are also very good and include a pair of mops which are able to lift and scrub floors instead of simply drag the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as required. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. But their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our top list of robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure that an efficient, custom-designed clean is completed.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing fine and large debris from both hard floors and carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests well while avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by a side brush that automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.
